RPG roguelike is a video game developed and published by Supergiant Games, released on September 17, 2020, on Microsoft Windows, Mac OS, and Nintendo Switch with a non-physical release and then on August 13, 2021, in Pittsburgh.

13. Grand Theft Auto V

11. Hyper Light Drifter

It is a 2D Action-RPG video game developed by Heart Machine. It was released in March 2016 on Windows, OS X, and Linux operating systems in July 2016 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Finally, an improved version was released on Nintendo Switch on September 6, 2018, under the name Hyper Light Drifter-Springs.

The Owya control module was originally planned, but these plans were abandoned along the way.

The game pays tribute to video games from the ages of 8 bits and 16 bits in the 1980s and early 1990s. Alex Preston says he's inspired by the Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past و Diablo II.

The Arena Feasting is a video game developed by Maddy Thorson in which up to four players compete against each other using arrows and the head jumps on the enemy 1.2.

The game was first released in Ouya on June 25, 2013, and will be followed (in order) by the PlayStation 4, Microsoft Windows, Linux, and OS X versions under the name TowerFall Ascension.

Up to four different players compete in closed arenas, which are completely displayed on the screen and their edges communicate (if the player leaves the lower part of the screen, it will appear again in the upper part and vice versa, the same for the right and left of the screen).

9. Resident Evil 2 (2019).

A third-person survival horror video game developed and published by Capcom was released on January 25, 2019, for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. 4K, 60 frames per second, and HDR compatible with Microsoft Windows and Xbox One X and PS4 Pro.

The game is a new edition of the remake of Evil 2, released in 1998. It's a survival horror game where the player can play Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield. The latter tries to survive while the city of Raccoon City is completely infested with T-virus and the characters Ada Wong and Sherry Birkin will also be playable, as well as Hunk and Tofu in the last edition of Game 1

The game took place in Raccoon City in September 1998, two months after the events of Resurrection Evil. A viral outbreak caused by Virus-T, a viral biological weapon devised by Umbrella Corporation, transformed most citizens into cannibal zombies. The game starts at a gas station outside the city. Newly appointed police officer Leon S. Kennedy to Raccoon City for his first day on the job.

When he arrived at the station, he found that the place looked abandoned and soon found himself plagued with zombies. While fleeing, he met student Claire Redfield and saved her from the throats of zombies. She was also going there, looking for her brother Chris Redfield, a member of the S.T.A.R.S.

Raccoon City is one of the survivors of the first game, without being reported for three months. They managed to escape and make their way to the city that now lives in chaos and destruction.

But after a car accident, Leon and Claire are forced to go their separate ways, meeting at the city police station. But the place is full of zombies and other creatures, particularly the "tyrant," sent by Umbrella to eliminate all the survivors she encounters, including Claire and Lyon. Because of all these obstacles, Leon and Claire cannot meet, as they now have to find a way to escape the city.

8. Vanquish

Vanquish is a third-person shooter game developed by Platinum Games and published by Sega. The game was released in October 2010 on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

The story takes place in a fictional future world where Russian communist terrorists turn an orbital station into a weapon of mass destruction and threaten to attack the United States.

The Hero ARS (Enhanced Reaction Suit) wears the Ultra-Upgraded Reaction Shield, a combat uniform capable of doubling the capabilities of the soldier wearing it, thanks to its carbon nanotube strength and allows replicating the appearance and characteristics of the three weapons and grenades at the same time. (BLADE), these weapons can be improved as they are also equipped with reactors and a system that increases the interaction of the bearer (a type of "lead time")

7. Monster Hunter World.

It is a role-playing game developed and published by Capcom and the fifth major installment in the Monster Hunter series. It was released worldwide for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in January 2018, with Microsoft Windows following in August 2018. In the game, the player plays a hunter, tasked with hunting and either killing or hunting monsters that roam in one of several environmental spaces. In the event of success, the player is rewarded by looting consisting of parts of the beast and other elements used in the manufacture of weapons and armor, among other equipment. The game's core loop contains the player who makes the right gear to be able to track the most difficult monsters, which in turn provide parts leading to more powerful hardware. Players can hunt alone or in a group of up to four players via a multi-player online game.

6. Devil May Cry 5

It is a 2019 Action-Adventure game developed and published by Capcom. It's the sixth installment overall and the fifth major in the Devil's May Cry series. Capcom released the game for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on March 8, 2019. The game takes place five years after Devil May Cry4 and follows three demon-powered warriors, Dante Returns, Nero, and a new hero named V, trying to prevent the Demon King Urizen from destroying the human world. During their journey to Red Grave City, the player can use these characters on different missions. Every one of them has their way of fighting and gets stronger. When this happens, the puzzle behind V is revealed, along with its relationship to Urizen. Devil May Cry5 was directed by Hideaki Itsuno, whose goal was to make the episode his best work. It was aimed at balancing the game for newcomers and returning players by presenting various difficulties and challenges. Capcom also wanted to offer a more realistic design inspired by the RE Engine used in their previous work, the Reset Evil 7: Biohazard. As a result, real people were used to painting character faces. The plot was written by the author Bengu Morehashi while the setting was based on various locations in London. Many composers worked together to produce the game's soundtrack, creating three main themes centered around playable characters. 

Devil May Cry5 received positive comments from critics, praising the variety of techniques the three characters bring with their admiration for handling the secret as well. The game won multiple game awards in both 2019 and 2020, and sold over two million copies less than two weeks after its launch, exceeding three million in, becoming the best-selling game in Almaty. A light and manga version of the game was also released by Morihash. An expanded version called "Devil May Cry5" was released: Special Direction [b] for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S in November 2020, which features Virgil being added as a shiny character For players on Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One operating systems, Vergil is available as tenable paid content.

5. Hotline Miami

Is a top-down shooter video game by Jonatan Söderström and Dennis Wedin, known as Dennaton Games. The game was published by Devolver Digital and released on October 23, 2012, for Microsoft Windows. The game in Miami in 1989 revolves around an unnamed silent hero - dubbed "jacket" by fans - who received encrypted messages on his auto-answering device ordering him to commit massacres against the local Russian mafia. 

The game blends top-down perspective with infiltration, extreme violence, and surreal storytelling, along with graphic music and visuals inspired by 1980s culture. The game itself was partly influenced by Nicholas Winding Raven's new 2011 crime film Drive, as well as the 2006 documentary "Cocaine Cowboys." Upon release, the game received acclaim from critics, with praise for its narrative, themes, music, and gameplay. Since then, Hotline Miami has become a cult video game and has been cited as a highly influential independent video game. A sequel, Hotline Miami 2: Was released on March 10, 2015.

4. Batman Arkham City.

It is a 2011 Action-Adventure game developed by Rocksteady Studios and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. Based on the Super Batman DC Comics, it is a sequel to the video game Batman: Arkham Asylum for 2009 and the second installment in the Batman series: Arkham. Written by veteran Batman writer Paul Denny with Paul Crocker and Sefton Hill, Arkham City was inspired by long-running comic book mythology. In the main story of the game, Batman is imprisoned in Arkham City, a large prison surrounding the deteriorating urban slums of the fictional city of Gotham. The secret behind an evil scheme must be uncovered by the manager of the facility, Hugo Strange. The main characters in the game are mostly voiced by actors from DC Animated University, with Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill reenacting their roles in Batman and Joker, respectively.

3. Bayonetta    

It is a series of action and adventure games created by Hideki Kamiya and developed by PlatinumGames. The franchise was introduced in 2009 with Bayonetta. Bayonetta 2, followed in 2014; Bayonetta 3 is under development. All three games starred the protagonist. Bayonetta 2 was announced in 2012 during the Nintendo Directorial for Wii U. The decision received a violent reaction from fans, as the game would not be available on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 36. 0.6] Platinum was initially working with Sega to create insurance, but Sega decided to cancel the game while developing play. Nintendo revived the project later. According to producer Atsushi Inaba, the game was not possible if they did not get funding and support from Nintendo. Sega remained as a play consultant. The game is directed by Yosuke Hashimoto, and Kamiya has an oversight role. The game was released in 2014 to receive very positive reviews. While sales had not been fully disclosed, by March 2018, Nintendo confirmed that Switch had sold 400000 copies for the first nine weeks, compared to 300000 copies of Wii U, which were sold during the same period. A third game in the series was announced by Nintendo at the 201st Games Awards. The Nintendo Switch is scheduled for release sometime in 2022.

2. Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice.

It is a 2019 adventure game developed by FromSoftware and published by ion. The game follows Shinobi, known as Wolf, trying to avenge the Samurai clan who attacked him and kidnapped his master. It was released for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, Xbox One in March 2019, and for Stadia Hospital in October 2020.

The mode of the play focuses on concealment, exploration, and combat, with particular emphasis on boss battles. The game takes place in a fictional collection of Japan during the Sengoku period and provides strong references to Buddhist mythology and philosophy. During the creation of the game, the main director Hidetaka Miyazaki wanted to create a new intellectual property (IP) representing a departure from the Souls game series also created by FromSoftware. The game looked at series like The Mysterios Morasame Castle and Tenchu for inspiration. Critics praised Sekiro, praised the way it was played, put it, and compared it to Souls games, despite differing opinions about the difficulty of playing. He has been nominated for and won many awards, including The Game Award for Game of the Yea The game sold over five million copies by July 202.

1. Dead Cells

It is a roguelike video game inspired by Metroidvania and The Building of Isaac, developed and published by Motion Twin. After a year of early arrival, Deep Cells was released for Linux, macOS, Microsoft Windows, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One systems on August 7, 2018. A mobile port for iOS was released on August 28, 2019, and an Android port was released on June 3, 2020. In the game, the player takes the role of a non-crystallized creature that moves a decapitated corpse into a cell, through which they must fight to get out.

The player acquires many weapons, treasures, and other tools by exploring the levels that have been created to fight the creatures that live within them. Sometimes, the player acquires "cells," a type of in-game currency that can be used to purchase permanent upgrades or cancel the lock of items. Dead cells use a permanent death system, causing the player to lose all cells, coins, and other elements at each death.
